THE PAINTERS
 After my father died in 2004 I found that a link with my family tree had gone.  My cousins over  time had done work on a family tree and not past any of their finding on, I have started to gether  my own.  After spending hrs on the net and finding information about the family and contacting  relatives all over the world I need to put it in one place for viewing.    My family of Painters started when John Painter came out to Australia in 1912 as a butcher on  board a boat.  Then he had his twin brother Albert come out but they returned with AIF to fight in  WWI.  Albert died and John returned to Australia and he married a Myra Daisy Gordon and they  started the Painter in Kyogle.  John has another brother Edwin (Ted) came to Australia and settled  with a local woman and like John(Jack) made Australia home.  John Painter was my grandfather.

THE BRENNANS
 My wife Deborah has for a long time spoke of what she has being told about her family so after  surfing for ages I have come up some unknown fact about the family.  There are a few holes still  in her tree but bit by bit I'm closing them.  I have found that the Brennans family tree is  already being looked at by Deborahs cousins so I have looked mainly at the Dodds from the (Redfern  area) side of Deborah's tree.  It appears to have big holes in the tree.  But bit by bit I'll  close the hole up with time.
